Ever since I was a little girl I enjoyed playing school. My little sister and I would spend hours in my closet, where my dad had installed my very own blackboard. I would put on my “teacher glasses” and teacher her numbers, letters, and how to spell. I was 4, and I dreamed of becoming a teacher. I thought teachers were the best! I still carry on that attitude today, not only because I am one. But I really think that with the work we do, we surely don’t receive enough credit!
